Plum Street Samplers New Releases
Greetings from North Georgia! I am busy shopping all the weekend for the new releases being shown during the Needlework Marketplace 2025 Show (an online wholesale market) and a wonderful surprise came across my desk - new releases from Plum Street Samplers that she is dedicating to America's 250th Birthday next year. She writes she is please to be ahead for once in designing for any event and this one in particular.
The first release is Red Bull & Odd Bird that is a sampler reproduction from her collection. The large bird captured her interest first and then the colorful motifs created by Ellen an 11 year old girl. In the lower right corner of the sampler are motifs by an eight year old that is thought to be Ellen's younger sister.
It is from this sampler, that Paulette designed the two small pillows, Happy Birthday USA, using the large bird in one with flowers around Old Glory and the second pillow has birds with sparklers gathered around a wonderful birthday cake.
Finally, Miss Pilkingston's Cottage picks up the same theme with the large vase with its glorious single flower and our wondeful flag flying above the house. All three new releases are coordinated in colors of red, white and blue with a variety motifs plus you have plenty of time to stitch before 2026!
Have you found a favorite or two new designs in the Needlework Marketplace Catalogue? Do check out the designs I have listed and use this link to review any new additions. I hesitate to mention any one particular design but some just catch my eye such as Tommy's Pumpkin Patch from Blueberry Ridge Designs that looks like such a fun stitch! And Little Robin Designs, Wilding Hill Manor, is quite popular. So spooky! If you have seen a design you would like me to add, please send me an email to marty@stitchandfrog.com.
Thank you again for all your orders and continued support of Stitch and Frog. With so many choices of places to buy your stitching projects, I appreciate each and every order, Marty
