Joy To The World is the title of this cross stitch pattern...
Plum Street Samplers, Needle & Flax, Fox and Rabbit
Greetings from Stitch and Frog! I am so excited with the latest release from Plum Street Samplers which has been in the works for about a month now! I have ordered and received Fox and Rabbit Saltbush Linen that is used in Winter Moon and I have on order Needle & Flax Gallows Hill that is targeted to ship next week. I have had this beautiful linen on order for a few weeks now but she is waiting on more base fabric so should receive next week (but note that is Thanksgiving week when we all expect a slow down in the US Postal System).
Plum Street Samplers two new releases are Salem Sampler and Salem Mini Moon plus she is releasing a prior exclusive Winter Moon.
Salem Sampler is one of her Rhode Island inspired designs that focuses on Salem's Witch Trials. The top of the sampler is a winged skull ('death head') that adorned tombstones which represented a soul's journey that was not finished as one makes their way to Heaven. The middle section features Reverend Mather protecting a young accusing girl but points his finger to two innocent women. Gallows Hill was where the accused where hanged. The new linen from Needle and Flax is named Gallows Hill and it is a beautiful rich brown neutral color that Plum Street writes she will used again. As stated, I placed my order a few weeks back but plan to continue to order it again to keep as a standard in my catalog. I have started carrying Needle & Flax Linen and it is flying out the door! I have ongoing orders placed with this wonderful dyer so check back often.
Salem Mini Moon is a Halloween design that the designer wondered if too late to release and I immediately said 'no' as did 96% of you who took her poll on Instagram. It is delightful and bubbles coming out of a hot cauldron. With the witch flying above the cauldron and pumpkins galore, it is going to be a fun stitch and you will have finished in plenty of time for next fall.
Finally, we have Winter Moon that was once an exclusive but now available to all and she leaves not one tiny bit of vacant space on this design - stitch away as it is gorgeous that is stitched on the beautiful Saltbush fabric from Fox and Rabbit.
I am selling the patterns separately but if you want to order either the Fox and Rabbit or Needle & Flax Linen, you will need to order the items where I combine the pattern with the linen. I am handling it this way as hand dyed linen takes awhile to get in stock and I want to ensure those of you who purchase the cross stitch designs from me get first chance at the linen. For now, I am limiting one per customer due to fabric takes longer to get in stock and I want as many stitchers who want the fabric can get it.
And our own Plum Street Samplers exclusive, A Fine Spot, that I am still getting orders plus I have a few of the finishing kits available too!
There is also plenty of new designs now and getting emails almost daily so designers are working hard to get their releases done prior to the holidays.
We have been running a poll on our front page asking if you prefer free shipping or discounting of products and free shipping leads the way! So, with the Plum Street Samplers release (with or without fabric), you will be able to reach and exceed the $50.00 minimum for free shipping - an added bonus.
I hope each of you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends! When I count my blessings, I count you for your support now and always, Marty
