Heart's Ease Examplar Workes, Bent Creek and More!

I hope each of you enjoyed a wonderful holiday with family and friends and are still celebrating! This newsletter focuses on a few new designs that you may want to start as your winter projects.

Heart's Ease Examplar Workes

This sampler has been in the design stage for a few years now and it recently made its debut! It is a masterpiece and for those of you who stitched this designer's colony series, or live in North Carolina or have ancestors from North Carolina as I do, it is a must stitch! The title is The North Carolina, A Tribute To The Old North State, Sampler. The model is done in NPI silks and while the designer offers no substitutions, NPI to DMC conversions are available. This design will look just as gorgeous no doubt with DMC. I have a conversion chart that was done by The Drawn Thread and I will print and enclose with each chart to assist you. This design would work perfectly with Zweigart's Vintage Country Mocha Linen.

Bent Creek

This wonderful designer has been such a long time contributor to our industry and if you enjoy their 'row' series, they have a brand new one full of snowmen titled Season Greetings Row and so appropriate right now! The recently released Christmas Oodles is also available and it is never too early to start Christmas stitching and enjoy all year long.

La D Da has released Let It Snow that features a snowman that is similar to her scarecrow design earlier this year and do check out Winter's Song from Wildflower Stitching. This one caught my eye as we typically see Cardinals in such designs but this one has a Blue Jay with a branch of holly! He would be gorgeous on Seraphim's Nantucket Eve Linen.
