Chessie and Me, La D Da and more Market Buzz
Countdown to the Nashville Market that is being held this weekend (March 1st-3rd) is just days away and wanted to send out this newsletter with more Market Buzz.
Chessie and Me
While not attending Market this year, Chessie and Me has released five new designs and are already proving popular. Where We Love Sampler features a beautiful red house with an alphabet and motifs of flowers and birds so it is going to be a beauty once stitched. Quaker Needfuls features Quaker motifs (natch) but the soft colors of blue and taupe (a favorite) that you finish as a needlebook and scissors fob. Return of the Whales features the sea, lighthouse and, of course, wonderful Whales so hard to resist this one. Mariam Geehn 1832 Sampler that she finishes as a drum but you can either frame or even a pillow to display. Finally, there is Berry Basket that you finish for sewing box lid and a small sampler to tuck safely inside.
La D Da
Also, unable to attend Market, La D Da is also releasing three new designs. There is Anna Maria's Pocket that features a small sampler full of motifs and you finish as a small sewing pocket, Mary Collier 1814 and One Stitch At A Time that is quite popular and easy to see why with the muted colors and floral motifs, birds, trees surrounding a beautiful house.
Stacy Nash Primitives just released her last design and she promised it would be a chicken and it is wearing a party hat titled Le Poulet. And, the latest house from Cottage Garden Samplers' Fabulous House Series is ready for pre-order titled Cottage. And while not a Market item, Stitch and Frog's exclusive from Plum Street Sampler last year, A Fine Spot, remains popular so check it out. I still have a limited amount of the Lady Dot Creates Mossy Chenille and Velveteen that you can also add to your shopping cart with link provided on the item page. And review Glendon Place's new releases as all four are so beautiful. She often uses speciality fibers and I can order those for you if will send me an email but she offers DMC alternatives that work well.
And I am sure there will be more surprises over the event weekend so I will be adding to the website as well as throughout March really. I do not list everthing as I find it overwhelming for anyone (including me) nor do I list exclusives or limited items as there is typically sell outs. I will add those items later so you can shop even more with the Frog in March.
This annual event is our time for designers to show their new releases and what is coming in 2024 so we delight in supporting them. No matter who you choose to shop with, please be patient as many designs will sellout and need to reprinted plus the sheer volume of orders simply take time. Thank you always for shopping with Stitch and Frog, Marty
